Products Description

Ultrasonic level gauge is a digital instrument controlled by a microprocessor for measuring the level of substances and liquids. In measurement, ultrasonic pulses are emitted by sensors (transducers), and the sound waves are reflected by the surface of an object or liquid and received by the same sensor. They are converted into electrical signals by piezoelectric crystals, and the distance between the sensor and the surface of the object or liquid is calculated based on the time between the emission and reception of the sound waves. Due to the use of non-contact measurement, the measured medium is almost unrestricted and can be widely used for measuring the height of various solid and liquid materials. The instrument can be selected according to the technical requirements of two-wire, three wire, or four wire system used by the user on site. It can be connected to PLC and DCS systems through 4-20mA or RS485 (Modbus protocol), and can also choose to output switch signals to connect to the automatic control system, providing real-time material level data and automatic control for industrial automation operation.
