Introduction To Ph Meter Electrodes
1. PH electrodes can be used for measuring various types of wastewater or most water quality analysis data.
2. The electrode can be used in conjunction with various acidity meters.
3. The electrode adopts cable BNC standard connectors or Y-shaped wiring terminals, etc. 4. If the electrode life is normally used for two years, it will be shortened due to harsh environment or improper maintenance.
Usage, maintenance and precautions
1. When measuring, it should be washed in distilled water (or deionized water) first, and the water should be absorbed with filter paper to prevent impurities from entering the measured liquid. The electrode bulb and liquid network should be immersed in the measured liquid at the same time.
2. When the electrodes are not in use, they should be cleaned and covered with a protective cover.
3. Electrodes should be avoided from long-term immersion in distilled water, protein solutions, and acidic chloride solutions, and should be prevented from coming into contact with silicone oils.
4. For electrodes that have been used for a long time, their glass film may become semi transparent or have sediment attached. In this case, they can be washed with 6M hydrochloric acid and rinsed with water.
5. It is recommended that users clean the electrodes once a week and cooperate with instrument calibration.
6. If you still cannot perform calibration procedures on the electrode using the above methods for maintenance and upkeep, the electrode will no longer be able to recover its response. Please replace the electrode.
