A solution conductivity meter, also known as a conductivity meter, is an instrument used to measure the conductivity of a solution. During use, correct operating procedures and safety regulations must be followed to ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement results. The method of measuring the conductivity of the solution under test is called conductivity analysis. Conductivity is the reciprocal of resistance, so the measurement of conductivity value is actually converted through the measurement of resistance value, which means that the method of measuring conductivity should be the same as that of measuring resistance. However, in the process of measuring solution conductivity, when the current passes through the electrode, ions will discharge on the electrode, causing polarization and causing errors. Therefore, when measuring conductivity, a sufficiently high frequency alternating current should be used to prevent the production of electrolytic products. In addition, the platinum black plating on the electrodes used is to reduce overpotential and improve the accuracy of measurement results.
